As I've mentioned, I'd make a terrible drug addict.
One of the major down-sides to fracturing an ankle is that you are forced to spend a whole lot of time sitting around. Because sitting around all the time increases the risks of blood clots I'm now on a blood thinner. Which wouldn't be so bad if the delivery system weren't this:
A shot in the belly once a day for a month and a half. That's just adding injury to even-worse-injury.
The first day it took me 20 minutes of nearly injecting myself, then instictively pulling the needle away from me, until I finally did it. The second day took me EVEN LONGER. It got to the point where I was making myself hysterical as my brain said "Just do it, pansy!" and my arm said "hellz no!" (my arm is slightly gangster, apparantly.)
I've finally gotten to the point where I can just do it immediately, but my stomach has tiny little dots everywhere I've injected. I look like a confused heroin addict. And it hurts. Because you have to inject about two inches from your belly button and I'm a righty I've been injecting in about the same spot every day.
My belly fat is getting tired of all the abuse.
